to the amazing benefits of eating the right fats. My weight loss
has improved with just the simple addition of a teaspoon of this

Spicy Black Bean Soup
Weight Watcher point value per 1 1/2 Cup serving - 3
cooking oil or spray
1 medium onion finely chopped
3 medium garlic cloves minced
2 - 15 ounce cans black beans, undrained
1/4 to 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 to 1 tsp cumin
8-10 ounces fat-free chicken or vegetable broth
1 - 10 oz can diced/chopped tomatoe
1 - 4 oz can diced/chopped green chiles
1 - 11 oz can yellow corn, drained
Coat bottom of pot lightly with oil.
Cook onion and garlic until soft but not brown, about 5 minutes.
Blenderize onion and garlic with one can of beans, red pepper flakes
and cumin.
Pour mixture back into stock pot.
Add second can of beans, broth, tomatoes, green chiles and corn
to stock pot.
Simmer 20-25 minutes
Be creative with out adding extra calories by adding more spices,
fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime to adapt flavors to your taste.
